Bloodgorge/Imperial Death/Dis-Organ-Ized Records/2010 Ep Review

Bloodgorge  are  a  band  from  Alamba  that  plays  grindcore  mixed  with  sludge  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2010  ep  "Imperial  Death"  which  was  released  by  Dis-Organ_ized  Records.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  great  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  is coming  out  of  the  guitars.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  grindcore  riffs  that  have  a  great  amount  of  influences  from  riff  along  with  some  melodic  riffing  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording  and  at  times  they  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.

Vocals  are  all  deep  guttural  death/grind  burps  and  growls  with  some  samples  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  lyrics  cover  hateful  and  gory t hemes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Blodgoarge  are  a  very  great  sounding  grindcore/sludge  metal  hybrid  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  style,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Infernal  Demise"  "Arrow  Valley"  and  "Maggoted".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
